WWII German M42 Luftwaffe Helmet. COMPLETE WITH ORIGINAL ISSUE LINER AND CHIN STRAP!!! Guaranteed 100% original 1942-1945 manufacture. This is the real deal!!! Full size helmet. LARGE SIZE 64. Complete with original, untouched, marked size 58 or 59 liner (not sure about second number) in excellent condition!!! Good soft light brown leather that could be worn today. Original issue chin strap. Chin strap is solid but shows age. Single decal on left side near 90%. T are no visible offensive symbols on this item, just a bird decal. Helmet is painted in original Luftwaffe green /grey rough paint and is about 90% with some surface rust and faded paint age patina as seen in photos. This M42 German helmet is untouched and exactly as found in a WWII U.S. 82nd airborne Army veterans foot locker from Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Would look great with WWII German uniform, dagger, medal or helmet display. Shell stamped ET 64 on inside left and 2588 on inside rear shell. Original liner band is stamped inside with 1940 with a manufacturer's name that I cannot read. Standard highest quality M42 open rim manufacture. Exactly as shown in photos.
