RARE UNUSUAL WWII GERMAN RAILWAY OR MINERS ? LANTERN . THIS IS A vintage German lantern with hook hanger- This is an old light and its condition is consistent with age - GREAT PIECE FOR A RESTORATION PROJECT. The top of the lamp stamped "OSNABRUCK" and other stuff I can't read? - It is 8 1/2" (tall) 3 7/8" (across) 3 1/2" (deep) - The two side doors open . have clear glass on both sides The front glass panel is missing , - - This old lantern is dirty, I have made no attempt to clean it - It has it's original dirt and dust on it - It has heavy black paint on it, I have no Idea if it has been repainted - Wooden handle is in great shape.
