WWII German Rad Dagger Hewer Eickhorn

German Rad hewer 100% original WWII period. Scabbard throat is numbered Ma 410. Also has 190 stamped on outside of scabbard on upper fitting below the engraved swirls. The scabbard is covered with a brown paint or primer that resembles an SA dagger scabbard finish, with traces of black paint remaining. If it weren't for the paint showing, you would think it was a brown scabbard. It looks good like this, and is part of the reason I bought it. Both scabbard fittings are in good shape and are nickle silver. The dagger is stamped Ma 815 . The blade is marked with the 1934-35 Eickhorn logo. The blade shows use and does have darkening and some corrosion as shown in pictures. It is missing one scabbard screw in the bottom fitting. The dagger is very heavy and well made. Early production hewers were given to officers. It would make a good addition to a collection for someone . I will give a full refund minus shipping charges for any reason as long as knife has not been altered or disassembled. Please ask any questions prior to bidding. The blade has the letters RADJ. inside a triangle with GES GESCH below it. Also the makers mark has become somewhat faint due to the condition of the blade. But not enough to determine which logo it is. Still a very impressive collectible, with nice age tone to grips and fittings.
