WWII GERMAN RAILROAD Deutsche Reichsbahn Salt & Pepper World War II German Reich Railway (Deutsche Reichsbahn) ceramic salt & pepper shakers. On the front is the Hoheitsadler symbol (the eagle, Germany 's traditional symbol of national sovereignty) and "RBD Saarbrucken." On the bottom are the words "Modell des amtes" and "Schonheit der arbeit" in German. T is also an interesting German logo on the bottom. The salt shaker has a tiny rim chip on the underside of its lid that has been smoothed out (can be seen in the third photo). It is also missing the cork insert that holds the lid on, but this can be easily replaced. The salt & pepper shakers are 3" (8 cms) tall and about 2" (5 cms) in diameter.
