This is a one of a kind flag from the 14th U-Boat Flottilla based at Narvik, Norway. This flag, made of white muslin, has a center design consisting of a blue diamond with a black stylized U-Boat (viewed from the bow), in the center. From each side of the blue diamond is a wide red line going to each corner of the flag. This flag was taken from the desk of the 14th Flottilla Commander in Norway in May of 1945 by a British soldier. The U-Boat Historical Society of Germany identified the flag as one of the U-Boat flottilla insignia of the 14th Flottilla. This flag comes with a notarized note from the dealer from 1985 when the flag was purchased. Email for additional details. "To Whom it May Concern, This flag, made of white muslin, has a center design consisting of a blue diamond with a black stylized U-Boot (viewed from the bow) in the center. From each side of the blue diamond is a wide red line going to each corner of the flag. This flag was taken from the desk of the 14th U-Boot Commander in Norway in May of 1945 by a British Soldier. The U-Boot Historical Society of Germany identified the flag as one of the U-Boot Flotilla insignia of the 14th U-Flotilla. This is true as was told when I originally purchased the flag." It is signed by the seller, a reputable and well known Pennsylvania dealer, and the Notary Public.
