WWII German Sword. Solingen D.G. Kratz. This is a WWII solingen D.G. Kratz sword. It does not include the skabard. It has some rust on the blade and dents from use. the handle also has some dents in it, most likely from it being used in battle. This sword was brought home by an american soldier from WWII! The manufacturer and model are printed in the blade close to the handle which can be seen in the photos. I know for sure that this is not an officers sword, but beyond that, im not sure.
