WWII Holocaust Concentration Camp Zyklon B canister

This is an original Zyklon B canister as used during WWII . It is a 1200 g canisters that has an over stamped 500 label. I have seen several done this way as the war progressed. Zyklon B was the pesticide used by the Germans during the war to fumigate the barracks in the Concentration Camps , and later the same gas used to murder millions of innocent people in the camps of Auschwitz , Majdanek , and Stutthof. This canister has been part of my personal twenty year collection. It was found in the attic of a building many years ago while the building was being renovated. I have only decided to sell this one because I recently purchased a twenty five year collection from a friend. . For what I paid for the collection I have to let some things go. I have searched for years folks, these just aren't around. Once in awhile during the war someone may have have grabbed a label from time to time , but never the canisters, they were just too bulky. Most were left in the camps , and they are not giving them up. The only ones I have ever seen came from the same building , and that was a fluke thing. You will not find another one anyw at any price. These are beyond rare, and define the sadness of the Holocaust more than any other artifact. Do not miss your only chance to own one of these rare and interesting artifacts from a tragic time in our history. This is the last one, don't miss it. * The photo of the stacks of canisters is a picture taken at Majdanek Concentration Camp to show the use of other canister during the war. I just couldn't resist adding this great pictures taken at the end of the war at Stutthof Concentration Camp. It shows two of the different size canisters side by side. The 1200g and the 1500g . Zyklon B was usually packaged in 200 g, 500g , 1200g , or 1500 g canisters. Again the one I am offering is a 1200g size canister. Just thought it might be an interesting reference picture. The picture is not included in the auction. Thanks for looking...
