WW2 Italian "BLACK SHIRTS" FASCIST High-Ranking Officer Hat - ORIGINAL! Guaranteed 100% ORIGINAL, pre-1943 manufacture! We obtained this RARE cap many years ago directly from a European collector (his name will be given to the winner) who had only THE BEST! This beautiful (the Italians know how to make stylish things - from helmets to Ferrari sports cars) cap was worn by a company-level officer (per the information from this collector). Look at the intricate detail that went into making this visor hat - the fascist eagle embroidered into the band, etc. Italian Fascist World War II militaria was recently identified (based upon demand at the February "Show of Shows") in Military Trader as having top 'upside' investment potential. It's gorgeous , it's timeless (the Roman symbols date back to Julius Caesar) and it's not banned! RARER and more visible at a show than any German headgear (even Fallschirmjager), and t's no question about the authenticity of this hat. T's no question this belonged to "the bad guys" (not Royalist Italian). We have enjoyed exhibiting our attention-getting Italian collection (we've never had competition from similar items) for a long time - but it's time (for reasons of health) for us to 'downsize.'
