HELMET: Up for auction is a WWII era Front Seam (Made by Schlueter) FIXED BALE. Has its original paint and ALL its cork texture, The Khaki chinstraps and early WWII hardware have been aged and detailed. The Markings of the 2nd RANGER BN. and Captain rank were painted byhand and then aged and detailed to look WWII authentic. Schlueter only account for 10% of the WWII production of shells, this is an Early version, Higher dome shape and a bit of a slope, compared to later versions that have a straight edge appearance. Early serial number too. Heat stamp is: 58B "S". Also If Schlueter only produced 10% of all steel pots, then their Fixed bales only make up for about 2% of ALL Steel pots period!!
HELMET LINER: This is a MSA (Mine safety Appliance) liner and is complete with all you see: Khaki HBT webbing, Original Steel A-washers , Khaki sweatband w/OD hardware-clips, non-removable chinstrap with slider buckle and a khaki nape strap. The liner is in Used condition over all, All the parts are aged to look like heavy combat use, but is in good-used shape. Any and all rust or tarnished parts you see is a result of Mother nature, NOT faked. 80% of the webbing is original triple HBT, gives this MSA a very early war appearance. As well as the Helmet liner having its original paint. PAYMENTS: I accept Money Orders, cashiers checks and PAYPAL, Personal checks too, (Must have a clean record, No negatives for non payment).
