I should not have to say this, but this is not for consumption/use now! This auction is for one (1) early WWII military medical first aid field kit, with contents in original container. I am parting with a few items from my own collections. This item, along with some of my other earlier bottles, tins/boxes, etc., was acquired from an Maine estate sale of a retired doctor. [Note: I will be listing some great early medicines & poisons with labels & dried/residual contents in some of my other auctions.] This great find is in excellent condition, with most contents unopened/unused! Lid, wire bale, and container are intact, no cracks or chips. It just has some case wear, as to be expected. Printing on one side of container is all legible, with only a few places w lettering is faded or worn a little. (Great read for the trivia/history buff -- "When no longer needed, destroy or hide flask and all wrappers.") This is really a fun find! Would make a great addition to the collector of medicinals, WWII memorabilia, or interesting historical items in general. Flask, closed and capped, measures approximately 6"h x 4".
