This manual is dated 1 September 1943 and is 560 pages plus the covers measuring about 6" x 9". This manual features illustrations, specifications and info on hundreds of American military vehicles used during WWII. This book is divided into eighteen sections titled: Amphibians and Landing Vehicles; Armored Cars; Scout Cars; Cargo and Personnel Carriers; Self-Propelled Artillery; Tanks; Trucks; Truck Tractors; Tractors; Ambulances; Busses: Passenger Cars; Motorcycles; Trailers; Semitrailers; Dollies and Chart of Responsibilities and Index Some of the vehicles include Sherman Tanks, Harley Davidson and Indian Motorcycles, Half Tracks, Army Staff Cars, Crawler Tractors and lots more. Some of the manufacturers represented include: Caterpillar, Allis-Chalmers, Autocar. Cadillac, Dodge Brothers, Chevrolet, Baldwin Locomotive Works, White, Diamond T Motor Car, International Harvester and lots more. This is an original manual published during WWII. This manual is 100% complete and solidly intact. T is some foxing on the edges and some corner creases and general wear throughout. The front cover is somewhat soiled and has some spots and a few nicks and chips. Overall condition is good making this a great comprehensive resources on the broad array of wheeled and tracked vehicles used by the United States Army, Marines, Navy and other branches of the service during WWII.
