Here is a very nice WWII US Navy compass made by the Lionel company. It is marked 1942 The Lionel Corporation N.Y. US Navy BU. Ships 4 Inch Boat Compass Mark I N 43644. This was probably used on life boats or maybe small patrol boats. It is missing it's housing or box, but the bottom is flat so it could be displayed as is. Works perfectly with no liquid in it. Sitting in front of me and pointing due north. Liquid could be added, but I don't see why. A real piece of history! NO OVERSEAS SHIPPING. Happy to answer questions.
