WW II U.S. NAVY PILOT'S GROUPING - WINGS, HEADSET & MORE This auction is for a WW II Navy pilot's personnel effects as found in a local estate sale. The flight helmet is rather fragile and has torn in several spots but the headset appears to be be complete and in good condition. The rank insignia are sterling and the wings are marked 10k (see picture). Neither of the two silk maps appear to have ever been used. They are both double sided and illustrate the Pacific theater. The restricted manuals are dated 1943 and are named to "Flickinger" as is the Imperial brand knife. The painted cast model airplane is of an "A 30" and has a 10" wingspan. Very nice original grouping from WW II. If you would like more pictures or have questions, just drop me a note! And be sure to check out my other listings ! GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!!
