This is a large grouping of WWII Dachau concentration camp photos from a WWII veterans estate. The majority of the pictures are labeled on the back or front of the pictures as shown. There are a total of 25 pictures involving the Dachau concentration camp, 9 of which are photos of the German troops surrendering and 16 more graphic pictures of the Jewish prisoners. Out of the 25 Dachau concentration camp photos 20 of which are 2 ½’’ by 3 ½’’ the remaining 5 photos are a little over 3 ½’’ by 2 1/4’’. Almost all of the pictures are labeled, rather it be on the actual album page or on the front or back of the photo, I have not removed any of the photos from the album so it is in the same condition as I found it. The majority of the back of the pictures are labeled Velox which I believe is the developer of the photos. The overall condition of the photos is really good, however a few of the photos have small bent corners which is shown in the listing pictures. There are other pictures in the album as well which are included in this auction, however these pictures are mainly focused on his tour of duty through France. The additional pictures include as labeled “Bathing Beauties”, miscellaneous personal photos of his fellow troops and others.
