TO EBAY: THIS ITEM IS AN HISTORICAL ARTIFACT- IT CONTAINS NO HATEFUL MATERIAL! THIS IS MY THIRD ATTEMPT TO SELL IT! STOP PULLING THIS AUCTION UNLESS YOU REMOVE ALL SIMILAR AUCTIONS! Once again, for auction, a WWII German 1935M airforce helmet, dark blue in color with light rust that does not compromise the integrity of the metal. T are no dents or other damage. The edges are rolled. All three liner retaining rivets and both ventilation bushings are intact with no rust; the rivet heads are the smooth painted variety. It is stamped 4202 and ET 66 meaning lot # 4202 at the Eisenhuttenwerke-Thale factory, size 66. The leather liner has eight, five-hole fingers of which two are broken but the tip of one is still connected to the original string. The leather is still quite pliable and t is no stamp. The liner band is 1931M aluminum with reinforced side plates. Just above the left ear it's stamped 66 n.A. 58; just above the right ear it's stamped Schuber(?)h-Werk K-G DRP 1939 Braunschweig- I can't get photos as the band is too tight. The chin strap is gone but the d-rings are the earlier squared edge, not rounded. It has two period decals. I don't see a dome stamp. This is NOT a reproduction or post-war issue!
