This week I am offering this beautiful Original WWII poster by renowned USNR artist John Falter. This is an original full color poster that measures 30" X 40" that shows a Nazi guard putting his hobnailed leather boot on the back of an American POW and preparing to strike him with a rifle butt, while on the other side we see an image of an American shipyard worker relaxing instead of working...the powerful message is quite clear! This poster was commissioned by the NAVY INCENTIVES DIVISION and lithographed by the New York company of LUTZ & SHEINKMAN. The poster is still in VG condition, the only flaws being that the upper left hand corner is missing (see photo) and t are tiny thumb tack holes in all four corners. The original folds are still present. I must apologize for the picture I took, for it makes the colors look faded and they are still brilliant! I have owned this poster for several years now and have not seen another one like it on ebay. Please ask any questions you might have before bidding. As mentioned in the listing, this poster still has it's original folds and will be shipped that way unless you prefer a tube. Happy Bidding & Good Luck! While packaging for shipping today I realized that the 4 corner holes left by tacks had been enlarged somewhat from the poster being moved , tfore to refer to them as "tiny tack holes" was not accurate, and I apologize for the error. They are small holes nonetheless and do not detract from the overall appearance.
