Really Nice Large WWII Soldier'sMilitary/Patriotic Leather Photo Album, Containing Variety of Original SoldierPhotos & Other Military Records & Memorabilia, Mostly 1944 DESCRIPTION: REALLY NICE WWII Soldier's Patriotic Album containing many of his pictures and other momentos. Covers period from 1943 to 1944. He served in the Air Corps as part of the medical support group of the Aircraft Warning Service, Keesler Field, Mississippi.. This is one of several of his patriotic albums listed on ebay currently. Soldier was S/Sgt. Ray Burbank of Winchendon, Mass. It contains many momentos in addition to photos, e.g. letters, greeting cards, newspaper clippings, maps, ration books, award certificates, and club tickets, etc., etc., etc. Even one of his Sergeant stripes. Plus a wide variety of photos, about 48, in a wide variety of sizes, from small to fairly large. The large album itself is beautiful. Made of brown leather, and from the WWII era. Contains about 40 pages. About half the pages in the back are empty and could be used today. Album is large, 12" x 15". Has a shoestring arrangement on the side to act as a hinge. On the front cover is a huge patriotic army eagle emblem, about 7" diameter. And it says around the circumference, "GREAT SEAL OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA".
