RARE WWII PERIOD PHOTO DACHAU CONCENTRATION CAMP COURT Description:RARE WORLD WAR II GENUINE 1947 PHOTOGRAPH OF HANS SCHMIDT, AN OFFICIAL OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF BUCHENWALD CONCENTRATION CAMP, BEING ISSUED THE DEATH SENTENCE WHILST LYING ON A STRETCHER AT THE DACHAU WAR CRIMES COURT. A rare genuine photograph from 1947. The image shows lying on a stretcher, owing to a recent operation, Hans Schmidt, an official of the administration of Buchenwald concentration camp, hears sentence of death passed upon him at Dachau War Crimes Court. On the back of the photo are printed details regarding the image. Size approx. 6in x 8in (15.5cm x 21cm). A generally VG clean bright impression of this very scarce image.
