This is a WW2 photo/scrap album. It seems to be from a family in Hallam (or Hellam township) of York Pennsylvania. It looks as if three brothers served in the military at one time or another during WW2. There names are John B. Forry (killed in battle according to newspaper clipping) Clair Forry and Charles Forry. All of the pages are loose from the scrap book. Some of the pages are flaking and deteriorating. Some of the pictures are glued in and some of them are taped into the album. There may be creases, bends, tears, and other normal wear and tear. Overall I'd say the album is in remarkable condition. Some of the photos have identifying writings on them. There are two pages with foreign monies. Some look to be German and the others look to be Japanese. There is also a silver blue stamped one dollar bill with names signed all over it. I'm guess it was the names of those in the Ozarks 102 infantry division. As I see this pictured in the album and have read it in the newspaper clippings. A few pages have news paper clippings that coincide with the photos. There are two letters where one of the brothers who was killed in battle was corresponding with his sister. There are downed fighter plane photos, train photos a larger amount of tank photos. Some tanks look to be General Patton tanks. There is a Eisenhower and General Patton newspaper read more
