SHIPPING COST LISTED IN DESCRIPTION- READ BELOW. Lot of Twelve 7X9 Press Photographs from World War II. Stamped on the back that they are the property of Wide World Photos. All are in Italy except one is from Germany. Landing in Sicily (explosions can be seen in the water). Salerno Beachhead, Italy. Yanks Advance Along a Road in Italy. Mule Pack Train on Italian Mountain. Crossing the Volturno River in Italy. (Looks like they're in the process of constructing a Pontoon Bridge). Mt. Cairo, Italy, Showing Shell Holes. (Part of a paper Press description is still attached- Also stamped on the back Property of the Associated Press) Yanks Advancing in Anzio. Infantry Advancing in Sicily. Back from the Battlefield- "After two bitter days of fighting, troops of the 36th Division, Seventh US Army, split the last link in the Siegfried Line Defenses in the Schwein Sector, and are forging their way along the main Karlsruhe, Stuttgart Rd". This road leads from the town of Berg Zabern, Germany. Dated 4-3-45. Mule Train with 81mm Mortars on Mountain. Infantrymen Advance with Mt. Vesuvius in Background. Trucks on Mountain Road near Bologna. All these are in excellent condition and as far as I can tell these are original WWII photos. They are definitly old, and if they were reprinted they were made quite some time ago. Buyer pays with check money order or paypal and pays $3.25 shipping.
