WWII RCAF Canadian Air Force Upper Arm SHOULDER PATCHES
This is a pair of WWII patches that came from the estate of a woman who was married to an RCAF navigator, who was shot down and died in 1944 - please check my other auctions for a few other items belonging to that gentleman. These are known as Canadian "albatross" patches and would be worn on either side on the upper arm - note that the albatross is facing right on one and left on the other, so this is a matched pair. Both pieces are in very good condition. This is a great addition to a WWII collection..please click on any photo in order to enlargeno reserve.and please be sure to view my other auctions for more interesting vintage and antique items, all collected from a number of good quality local estates.
PLEASE NOTE: BUYER PAYS SHIPPING - PLEASE DO NOT PAY UNTIL I CONTACT YOU AFTER THE AUCTION to avoid error. The reason for this is that package sizes and weights are estimates only and insurance fees depend on final cost of item. Please e-mail us for a shipping quote or wait until after the auction for a precise shipping cost.
I am now shipping to my US clients through USPS services. I am located in Canada but I now have a carrier service to bring my parcels directly across the border on Thursdays to be shipped out of the USPS postal outlet in Champlain, N.Y. In addition to the actual shipping cost, I do charge a $2.50 handling fee to cover the cost of this service and I do require insurance. Please note that even with the handling fee that it is less expensive and is a quicker service than using Canada Post.
PLEASE NOTE: For items which sell over $200.00, I must ship to my U.S. clients using Canada Post, this is due to customs regulations.
To my Canadian clients, I use Canada Post for shipping, as I am based in Canada.
To my International clients I can ship by either Canada Post or by USPS (in order to use USPS for intl. clients - the items must sell for under $200.00) .
Please feel free to write with any inquiries in regards to cost of shipping to you.
My regular shipping day is Thursday.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: CANADIAN RESIDENTS PAY GST and QUEBEC RESIDENTS PAY BOTH THE GST AND PST TAX.
"Import duties, taxes, and charges are NOT INCLUDED in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding / buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up - do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior."
