You are looking at a listing for a restricted recognition pictorial manual for the war department and navy department during the second world war. The manual shows pictures of all the planes, including the underside, photographs and descriptions, distinguishing features, interesting facts, measurements and other relevent facts enabling planes to be recognised during the war. The manual is not bound but held together by a lace, some of the pages have come away from the lace through the amount of use it must have had. The manual is vintage and pre owned and does show signs of wear as you would expect, it is however completely as found with no restoration. Imagine how relevant this was during the war - how many lives it must have saved. This really is a fantastic and fascinating piece of military memorabilia, a really genuine piece of history.
