Totalof Five Sets – Plus Official USPS Laminated Slipcase – Additional Sheets AlsoIncluded – Very Low Price! These highly collectible commemorative sets (issued from 1991 through 1994) are in the original USPS packaging. Each one includes the hardcover picture album and mint sets of individual stamps and sheets. The stamps themselves are all in the original USPS packets – unopened and still sealed as when purchased. Books have never been opened, much less handled or used as reading copies. Note: There are two 1943 sets, but also note that the 1945 set is not included (thus the low price!) Suggestion: Trade the extra 1943 set for a similarly mint 1945 set! Bonus: Also included are six large glassine envelopes with multiple unbroken sheets purchased separately from the sets (see accompanying photo). One envelope contains a sheet with a hand cancellation reading “U.S. Navy Normandy Sta. June 6, 1994,” in apparent reference to D-Day, June 6, 1944. A couple of the glassine envelopes are unopened; there appear to be about nine mint sheets in total. All of these items were purchased by seller directly from the Post Office in 1994 and kept in safe storage ever since. All stamps and books are in perfect, mint, as-new condition. The slipcase appears to be slightly bent (see accompanying photo), but it straightens out nicely and looks great when books are inserted. Compare seller’s price to original cost of $15.95 per set in 1994. This is an exceptional value!
