Up for auction is a Vintage WWII Ribbon Bar with extras! Everything in this auction is from a now deceased veteran of the Army/Air Force. The info I have is that he was stationed in Germany for 3 years and was involved in the Berlin Airlift. He detonated unexploded ordnance in Deming , NM in the 1940's. He served his country for 20 years and retired in 1961. Sold 'as is". Thank you for looking at my auction! The ribbon bar includes the following: Top left to right: Good Conduct with Silver Knot Device (1 knot) American Defense Service Ribbon Center Row left to right: National Defense Service Ribbon Humane Action ( Berlin Airlift) Army of Occupation Ribbon with Berlin Airlift Device (Airplane) Bottom Row left to right WWII Victory Ribbon American Campaign Ribbon Air Force Longevity Service Award with Silver Oak Leaf Device Above the ribbon bar is an Enameled DUI Distinctive Unit Insignia Pin which was used for the US Army Ordnance Corps. The flaming bomb is suggested by and simulates the Ordnance Corps insignia. The torch signifies knowledge and alludes to the training in ordnance.
