Original WWII Soviet Russian Navy Officer's dress dagger with leather sheath. Early type, without the catch button. Serial numbered "No. 000260" (low serial number). The pommel displays the Soviet State Emblem with 11 scrolls representing the number of republics in the Soviet Union, during WWII. Leather wrapped scabbard with gorgeous gold plated brass fittings. Obverse has the Navy Anchor with rope and reverse has a sailing ship. Orange/yellow grip has minor scratches from use. Top of pommel has a Star. Overall in beautiful condition with only very light wear. The 8 1/2" mirrored-bright blade is in excellent condition and shows regular wear. Overall length is 13 1/2".
