Included in this auction is a Surrender Leaflet for Japanese Soldiers. In english it states that if someone wants to surrender that they will be treated in a humane way and to take them to the nearest commissioned officer. Also with this lot is a 3 1/4" X 2 1/4" photo Japanese Officer ( writing on back ), several pieces of paper with Japanese writing on them ( folded like they were in a wallet), some stamps ( which I believe are some type of script ), currency ( Japanese Government One Schilling). That all these were found together makes me assume that the guy in the picture surrendered and this was some of the stuff on his person
