Scarce private purchase knife carried by some U.S. and Commonwealth troops during WWII. Knife measures almost 11½" long overall and has a 6¾" blade with most of the Taylor Eye Witness Sheffield England logo remaining. Cross guard and pommel are brass, handle is hard leather washers and brass inserts. Knife shows overall use but remains tight with no cross guard or blade play. Blade shows some old sharpening but has original profile similar to a Sykes Fairbairn blade only wider. This came in a U.S. M-8 scabbard which fits it perfectly and has G.I. name Tex scratched into front. I also have other knives up for auction. Shipping is $15.00 U.S. to anyw in the U. S. A. or Canada and that includes insurance. I will combine shipping on multiple purchases. I accept Paypal, money orders or personal checks although personal checks must clear before shipping. Please Note: I cannot accept the green colored money order from the U.S. post office as we cannot cash them in Canada. Happy bidding and have a nice day!!
