Up for auction is this great find !!!!! This is an all original WWI or WWII Trench Periscope with the original tripod, leather and wooden case & the original Instrument light with its original box. This trench periscope is marked B. C. Telescope Model of 1915. Field 40 degrees-15 feet with the power of 10. This periscope/telescope was produced by the Bausch & Lomb Optical company. The periscope also bears the markings of this company. T are leather straps with covered leather ends that go on the tripod. All of the leather caps for the scope are present and in excellent condition. The scope has the original hard leather case also. The levels and dials are all present and in good working condition. This also comes with an instrument light that has the original box which bears the US Ordinance mark of the flaming bomb. The original owner of this unit was a forward observer in the Army during WWII and he managed to bring this unit back to the States with him. This is a complete unit and would make an excellent addition to your Military collection. You won't find one more complete than this or in the fine condition.
