WWII Type 30 Japanese Bayonet With Tokyo Arsenal Mark. The blade measures 15 1/2" from tip to guard and has not been sharpened. Has minor discoloration and pitting. The guard and pommel have little of their original finish remaining and also have minor pitting. The pommel is numbered "23055" with a circle in front of the number which has a letter, number or symbol in it that I can't make out. Wood grips have black stains almost like burns and the number "10" stamped into the wood. Something has been carved on the reverse side but not ledgible. The metal scabbard has most of its original finish and spots of pitting. The brown leather frog is complete but worn. A nice honest combat bayonet. Check out my other items !
