This is one of the knives used during WWII. I bought this from a lady who said her uncle owned it and carried it in his boot strapped to his leg, he was in the Air Force. Well used condition, blade is stamped MARBLE'S GLADSTONE MICH. U.S.A.. Original leather handle shows wear. Total length of knife is 8-3/4 inches with a blade length of 4-3/4 inches with a wide blood groove. The blade and everything is a very tight, no serious scratches on the blade, shows normal use and light pits with a dark gray patina, a few normal dings and t Nice solid well preserved knife. The butt is aluminum it has some light dings from use on the end. Guard and spacers are brass along with red and black spacers. Photos show it all well. The original sheath has a rawhide lace near the top and one hooked on the bottom for tying around the leg, appears to be the proper one at least they have been together a long time, it has U.S.A.F. and K.O. stamped on the front of it. Look the photos over good. This is a nice decent used piece. Any questions please ask. Buyer to pay shipping of 4.95, ins. is always an option, any bidders outside the U.S. must excellent feedback on ebay, thanks for looking.
