is a nice WWII U.S.Navy RCC, Robeson utility fighting knife in very good condition. This knife is pictured in M. H. Cole's book of U.S. Military Fighting Knives, third edition, on page 87 and is guard marked. The blade is about 99% parkerized and has no nicks or dents on the blade. It looks to have the original edge. it is marked USN Mk 2 / RCC on the guard. Leather handle is in good+ condition but is starting to show its age. The pommel and guard look excellent. Handle is tight, but guard is slightly loose, (very slight). The plastic scabbard is in very good condition. It is marked USN MK2 on the front and NORD 6581 / B.M. Co. on the back. The keeper snap works well and keeper strap and belt loop are also very good. The overall condition of the scabbard is very good. This knife could have been arsenal re-parkerized at some point in its life. T is still a light coating of cosmolene on metal parts. This one has been sitting in a display case with other WWII knives for many years.I accept Pay Pal, money orders and certified checks. My preferred method of shipping is USPS Priority mail. I try to be as accurate as possible in my descriptions but If you have any concerns about what I sell, check out my feedback. The pictures in the auction speak for themselves; this would be a fantastic addition to any collection. Item sold as is due to years of storage and handling. Thanks for looking and good luck. I will be adding other items from my personal collection in the days to come.
