A NeedfulThings Offering "UNKNOWN GERMAN BLACK & SILVER EICKHORN SWORD WWII WWI ?" This fine model 1902 US Officers Dress sword, is one of the best we have ever had to offer. Just a real pleasure to hold , Not only because of the superb state in which this example is in, But When you hold this saber it gives a true feeling of history. . The Plain dove head hilt is of the finest quality quite striking against the Black Handle & Crome scabberd. This Sword remains un cleaned and reflects a fine Overall patina. The back strap and Guard have a Remarkable appearance. Original Leather Blade Washer is in place. The grip is in Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. The 29 7/8" inch curved blade is a Triple Etched, but the space for the name has remained Plain. The blade is the most beautiful asset of this sword. No sharpening or pitting. T are only a few areas of lifting but nothing that serious. The Scabbard Is also in Very Nice Condition, No door dents.
