Reproduction US WWII Combat Boots. Introduced in November, 1943 as a replacement for both the Service Shoes and the Paratrooper boots. (Often called "double-buckles") They feature roughout leather uppers, full integral rubber sole, and a two buckle cuff with olive drab lining. These did not see widespread use until the Fall of 1944, but they were a welcome change from the atrocious M1938 legging insanity. Imported. These are manufactured for us directly from the factory. They are not sold by any other vendor. Fit: These are patterned from an original WWII boot which run a half size larger than modern ones. Thus, if you wear a half size, order down, not up. For example, if you wear a 10.5, order a 10. Half sizes are not available. These boots are made on an "E" last to allow room for use of insoles and thick socks. Please contact us for complete size information. 10 day return. We accept Paypal, M.O., Certified Check, Visa/MC or AMEX. No other forms of payment accepted!
