This is an Original, Rare and Near Perfect US WWII M1905 U C Bayonet. Fits the M1 Garand and Springfield 03. 16" blade retains about 99 percent of its light gray parkerized finish and has never been re-sharpened. Left Ricasso marked U C (United Cutlery) over ordnance logo over 1942. Opposite very nicely marked with the correct crossed cannon. Very nice Black Bakelite grips in unissued condition. Overall a collectors grade example rarely found in this condition. M3 scabbard is stamped VP (Victory Plastic)under metal throat. These are documented to have been made in 1953. VP was a division of Beckwith Manufacturing and made the Mark 1 and Mark 2 and M8 scabbards during WWII. I guarantee the Bayonet and scabbard are what I say they are.
