A genuine, WWII, U.S. Navy officer's sword with gold bullion sword knot, & scabbard. The 30 inch long blade is etched on both sides. Ricasso is marked "MADE U.S.A." & proofed with a star in a circle. The scabbard is marked, "43" & "7" over a 5 pointed star. Sword & scabbard are in very good condition & came from the estate of a Naval Academy graduate. The blade is almost immaculate. The white grip is somewhat soiled. The hilt & scabbard furniture, & sword knot is tarnished. T are 2 slight dings near the botton of the scabbard. Guaranteed orginal WWII vet's sword. The successful bidder to pay $18.00 s&h.
