Here is a vintage 26 1/2" long Henri Farny & Cie LP3 wood clarinet made in Paris France. This belonged to a WWII vet who was in the band for the 71st Infantry Division and 5th Infantry Division in WWII. He actually played this in Europe during/after WWII. The case is pretty much shot, but it is included. Also included are some reeds: 3 Guy Humphrey 2 1/2 reeds and one Gold Crown reed still in the package. There are 2 mouthpieces included. I don't think they are wood like the rest of the clarinet, but, I'm not sure. One is unmarked, and the other is marked: The Pedler Co. Elkhard, Ind. All the other clarinet pices are marked with an oval and the Henri Farny & Cie Paris France logo (see picture). The wood, to me, looks to be in good shape. I did not see any cracks other than the one crack on the inside of the small, short connecting piece--it is the piece just in front of the mouthpiece (not sure of the name of that particular piece). I've included a picture of this crack---its very small, but it is there. I'm sure the corks and pads will need to be replaced because of the age of this clarinet. From what I can see, the arms/rollers/etc look to be OK. I thought one was cracked, but it turns out it is supposed to be 'hinged' like it is, so it is not broken. I am NOT a clarinet expert, so PLEASE take a good look at the pics (zoom and read more
