See the scans. This is a menu from the 1942 Christmas party at the Naval Powder Factory, Indian Head, Maryland, Marine Barracks. Includes blank cover shown below. Front shows full color American flag against blue sky background, interior lists commanding officer, mess officer, and the menu itself.Condition excellent with slight discoloration to front of menu. Envelope shows light wear to corners, stains to reverse, and evidence of being opened as age naturally add the cover.NOTE: I am very good about getting my orders out promptly, sometimessame day and almost always within 24 hours. However, lately the U.S.postal "service" has been very spotty. In the last several months, I have had first class insured items take over a month to California and two weeks in New York State. Most are delivered in a timely fashion, but a few are not. ALL ITEMS MUST HAVE AT LEAST MINIMUM ($50) INSURANCE. NO EXCEPTIONS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! Buyer pays $3.00 for insured domestic postage. International postage is greater and will be accessed by request. I WILL NOT SHIP TO ITALY, THE CONTINENT OF AFRICA OR THE CONTINENT OF ASIA. I will combine postage on multiple orders.
