WWII US Marine Corps M-422A Leather Flight Jacket. Standard G1 cut with the red lining. The tag is well worn and shows it was made by Willis & Geiger. The size 42 hang tag is still readable. The lining has a few repairs but nothing drastic. Has a great gold colored mouton collar but t is wear on the corner points. The cuffs show minor wear with a couple of minor nips in it. The waistband is the classic WWII style reverse weave. The zipper is a smaller size brass Talon that was replaced during the war, as it looks like a double flight suit type zipper was used with a pull on each end. On the chest you can see w a Marine Corps VMR-953 ( The Disney Puss N Boots), squadron patch was removed, I might be a bit off on the exact number but I am sure you all know which one I mean. Has the USN painted stencil under the collar. The approximate sizes are as follows: armpit to armpit is 21 inches so it is closer to a size 42. Shoulder to shoulder is 19 inches. The back of the neck to the waistband is 25 inches. The sleeve length is 25 inches. This jacket has been worn but is still very solid. Please see the photos for more details, we will also not be putting up any extra photos. If you have questions please ask. We believe we have posted all the important measurements that could be needed. I am sorry if this sounds harsh but t is nothing worse then listing a flight jacket, answering tons of questions, and when the auction is over, all the questions that were asked, none of those Ebayer's ever bid on the items.
