Introducing Sword bayonet for use on the 7 mm. Saive Automatique, Fabrique Nationale (SAFN) Modèle 1949 self-loading rifle produced by FN for Venezuela in 1950. Approximately 8,000 SAFN rifles were made for Venezuela. Venezuela felt the Belgian M1949 knife bayonet was too short and opted for a modification of the old Belgian M1924 Mauser Export bayonet instead. The M1924/49 bayonet is identical to the Mauser version, except for the much larger muzzle ring. The Venezuela M1924/49 bayonet is historically significant as the last sword bayonet adopted by a major army. source of above information : The knob button is missing ,please look pictures .Nice patina.
