Up for bid is a Rare WWII WAVES Uniform. The uniform consists of the Blouse, Slacks and Overseas Cap. (The Shirt and Tie are not included.) They do not have a size tag in them. The Blouse has the WAVE Cloth Anchor and Prop Collar Insignia, Ruptured Duck Patch and Petty Officer 2nd Class Rating. The Blouse measurements from shoulder to shoulder across the back 15 inches, lying flat the chest is 36 inches, waist 29 inches, from the shoulder seam to the bottom of the sleeve 23 inches and is 24 inches in length from the collar seam to the bottom of the blouse. The buttons are all intact. It has a small pinhead moth hole on the lower left in the front as shown in the picture, but it does not detract from the blouse. The Slacks are VERY RARE and have the Wave Tags in them. They measure 25 inches at the waist with the possibility of letting out the back seam at least 2 inches and they have an inseam of 27 inches and a 6 inch hem that could be let out. The buttons are intact and the zipper works fine. They are in mint condition. The Overseas Cap is a Size 22 and has the Anchor and Prop Cap Insignia and it has a WAVE Tag. T is not mothing or tears in it. It would be an asset to any collector or re-enactor. The pictures speak for themselves. Please view my other collectibles listed.
