WWII WW2 British Helmet Medic Red Cross MKII Israel

Up for auction is a WWII British MKII helmet with early type chinstrap. This helmet and many like it w sold to Israel when the country was formed and used in its civil defense. This helmet could have seen action in the 1948 War for Independence. I believe the red Star of David represents a medic but I am not sure. I cannot make out the manufacture stamp as it is partial obscured by surface rust. It has its original riveted in Israeli liner. The chinstrap is worth more than the opening bid so is your chance to get a great deal on a piece of history. I guarantee this to be 100% original. If you have questions don't hesitate to ask. I have 100% positive feedback so bid with confidence and please check out my other auctions for WWII items like a front seam m1 helmet
