I am relisting this helmet as the last winner had plenty of time to bid and no time to pay. Anyways, I picked this up along with the British helmet I had for auction from Australia. It is a rare Australian manufactured helmet called an MKIII. It is in excellent condition and seems to have been only lightly used. The color is olive drab. The chinstrap has a name on it which looks to be "F. Biles" but I am not certain it also has the Australian army acceptance mark on it. The springs from one side of the chinstrap appear to have come loose in the webbing but this does not detract from its appearance or functionality. It's a great looking helmet and would look good in any military collection. I have 100% positive feedback so bid with confidence and check out my other items for other WWII helmets
