Great condition and extremely rare WWII French Infantry backpack of the special type designed for use by Vichy French forces under German control. The regular French army packpack - that is to say of the French who fought against the Germans during the invasion of 1940 - was totally different. This 'Vichy' pack is stamped with both French armory and German acceptance stamps, indicating that the pack was issued during the occupation. The pack shows almost no wear - leather and canvas are both in excellent condition. The only example I have ever seen. A great piece of history for the advanced WWII collector.
