I am selling my photo albums and some other things. Please check my other listings and have another look over the next few weeks.This photo album is of a German Infantry unit that served on the Eastern Front in WWII. The 284th Infantry Regiment was part of the 96th Infantry Division, under XXVIII Corps, 18 Army. The 284th served in France and then to the Eastern Front, northern sector. T are photos starting in 1940. One cemetary photo I will discuss is dated October 1942.The album contains photos in the field, training, destruction, tunnel, bunker, barrage balloon, buddy shots, barracks, nurses and winter positions and camo, and one winter artillery position. T are also shots of wounded soldiers at the Reserve Lazarett Bromberg Abt IIe. One of the photos shows are German Shepherd frozen in the snow. Another of a soldier with an Infantry Assault badge and a wound badge. T are several cemetary shots, including one with 3 graves in what looks like a garden of a house. Legible is the name of one Leutnant. T is another grave shot in the snow. T is also shot of a couple of graves, w you can clearly see 6/IR 284 and date of death in october 1942.Album cover, pages and onion skin is near mint. Pics are in great shape, though some are missing. T are 52 photos, including 3 that are loose.Buyer pays shipping. Payment due in 7 days. I cannot
