I am selling all of my photo albums and a few other things. Please have a look at my other listings and check back. This is a WWII German photo album of a group apparently on Occupation Duty in Norway. Unfortunately, the front cover is long gone, but the album starts with 1943 handwritten on the 1st page. In addition, only about 30 of the 63 pictures are still mounted. T are two postcard sized pics. The album can be restored, but I dont' have the time. T are few signs that t is a war going on except the uniforms and in one picture in the barracks, you can see a machine gun hanging on a soldier's bunk. At the beginning of the album, the soldier has handwritten captions under the pics; later in the album, no captions. Some of the captions says Big Wash, Summer Sunday, Midday Break in the Garden, After the Work, at Rest, Battalion Business Room, Tabletennis, and my favorite....a group of soldiers is posed in front of a building, and written beneath is is Klub der Harmlosen, which translates to Club of the Harmless. Shots are mostly of soldiers obviously not worried about being attacked. They are sampling the countryside, including several winter shots and shots on skiis, possibly with locals. Beer drinking is also big. T are some shots of a village, formations with officers, civilians, Wehrmacht soldier with a Kriegsmarine, a couple of either family or civilians in Norway, drinking in the barracks, a wagon in town with what looks like an officer inspecting it and buddy/scenery pics. One photo has the date 1944 on it, despite the front of the album saying 1943. In antoher shot, you can see a soldier's Sports Achievement medal as well as a Wound Badge. So he at least had to have seen combat. Payment due within 7 days. T are no offensive symbols in this album. I will not ship w prohibited
