Dark brown leather exterior is in mint condition. The chin straps and buckles are in tact. The tan sheeps skin lining shows some age and the band across the forehead on one upper corner needs tacking down and shows wear. On the inside bottom label reads---Fl.Kopfhaube. Gr. (ink # 57). Baumuster LKpW101 Gerat-Nr. 124-436A Werk-Nr. ---/ (some word written in red ink--I can't read). Anf.Z. Ln26518 Siemens Lieferer:Luftifahrt- geratewerk Hakenfelde 4 letters under that( sorry my eyes aren't that good). left bottom corner has a smudged red BL. My Dad got this in the war.
