2 x Raytheon’1966 JRP-5886 (DF703) subminiature audio/electrometer tubes, NIB You are buying a pair of high quality military qualified type JRP-5886 vintage tubes - reliable subminiature electrometer pentode , never used, made in USA in 1966 by Raytheon. The tubes have yellow printing “RAYTHEON JRP5886 made in U.S.A. ”, same batch No.184 and same data code 66-17. T he Raytheon EIA manufacturer code 280 is also printed. The 5886 is a low-noise hearing aid/electrometer subminiature penthode - 0.25pA max grid current. The European equivalent for a 5886 is the DF703 . The 5886 is excellent to the hobby builder: - the filament power is very low, 1.25 volts at 10 milliamps ! - the typical operating plate voltage is only 8.5 vols ! The tubes are packed in white military grade packing and extra heavy boxes, marked “JAN-CRP-5886”, also marked with Federal stock number 5. Warranty: Unfortunately they are not tested (measured) because our tube testers can not measure such type of tubes.
