Stunning Antique French gilt BRONZE MANTEL CLOCK . The clock is made in France in the second part of the 19 th century ( c.1880 ) . Excellent quality and original condition . Solid BRONZE . I won't describe the various elements, as the photos do that well enough . The clock measures approx. : 16 1/2" tall ( 45,5 cm ) 12 1/5" width ( 27 cm ) 5 1/2" deep ( 14 cm ) Total Weight over 16,5 lbs ( 7,5 kg ) ! Dial is in fine condition and shows no damage or flaws . Complete with key and pendulum . The Movement is an 8 day bell strike sounding the hours and the halfhours . The Movement as been cleaned, oiled and tested, is in good condition .
