LARGE ANTIQUE EMBROIDERY STENCIL Here I am offering an extra large monogram stencil. It is made of tin and has 13 different ways to embroider the letters "AB". These stencils were used with dark blue, washable ink or powder to transfer the monograms onto trousseau linens and then hand-embroidered! The stencil is from the very early part of the last century......up to 100 years old. 6.5" by 6.25", it has not been used, but the tin has cracked in several places along the edges. Still - an antique historical reminder of yesteryear.
