Up for auction I have a very unique and ornately detailed XLG Pitcher. This is a gorgeous item and would be a very unique addition to any mantle or fabulous centerpiece. I believe this may be German Pewter, though it is not marked and I have no documents to verify that. This item is old and in used condition. T is no dents, dings, or scratches on this rare and unique item.
**This piece stands perfectly straight contrary to my poor photographs. DESCRIPTION: The winner of this auction will receive the gorgeous pitcher shown in the photos. This can also be used to hold artificial flowers. It is not functional as a pitcher. It comes apart into 7 seperate pieces. Inside the mouth of the pitcher, the pitcher was constructed with a rod down the center which screws into the base. All segmented pieces come apart and it probably would not securely hold any liquid. T are 3 openings inside for artificial stemmed flowers & foliage to be inserted if wanted. An absolutely gorgeous decorative item. The pitcher has extremely ornate detail from top to bottom. The images range from angels and cherubs, gorgeous flowers and foliage, grape leaves and clusters and a whole lot more. A DEFINITE MUST SEE! The base is very heavy. It is decorated with ornate images of grape clusters and leaves, with a ribbed band leading up to the stem. The pitcher is tall and extremely heavy. The handle is large and very ornate. T is a devil face at the bottom of the handle, with an angel head at the very top. See photos, though they don't do this item justice! This pitcher is very heavily cast and has a lovely dark patina. This decorative wine pitcher/vase will be a treasure for it's new owner. The pictures don't do it justice. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!
